5. Missy Byrd

Easily the most decently dope player of the season, Missy’s edit has been given tinges or streaks of villainy. That’s not to say she’s a villain, but the way that she has handled certain interactions seems to have been setting up potential storylines about players flipping. We’ve already seen the seeds planted in growing the “Karishma’s going to flip at the merge” tree.

What has been more dominant in her story so far is how she’s able to maintain relationships and mend broken bridges. She was able to bring Aaron back into the fold in getting out Chelsea, and she has been shown to bring Lauren back into trusting her again after she did the seemingly lamest “betrayal”: voting out somebody like Jason, who was not in her alliance.

You can only keep so many plates spinning in the air and only for a limited amount of time, so I have to wonder if the other shoe will drop sometime down the line. However, with the Lairo women in her corner, some Vokai women she can work with, and a small list of bigger threats in front of her, Missy has the chance to make some inroads at the merge.
