Survivor Island of the Idols episode 11 power rankings: Unmighty No. 9

5. Karishma Patel

Even with a Hidden Immunity Idol in her pocket and getting out her “bully” in Missy, Karishma has a hard time finding a Final Three in which she can win. Unless she goes to the end with Dan and, I dunno, Noura (despite the three not working towards common goals or with any partnerships heading into the Final Nine), I can’t find a reason why this jury would vote for her right now.

She simply has gotten on everybody’s nerves, and it’s not a new problem. Even when Vince came back from the Island of the Idols with an idol in his pocket, he was trying his best to keep Karishma integrated into tribal dynamics. The elements have only drained more of her physicality and spirit, as she looked like a ghost at camp and at the Immunity Challenge.

Even with Elaine and Tommy working together to get rid of Missy, Karishma is being viewed as a number, not a true ally. Only when she plays her idol will her destiny in the game be in her total control. When Noura is calling you crazy and entitled within the game of Survivor, you know something has gone terribly, terribly wrong for Karishma.

But hey, having an Immunity Idol is a lot more than most can say.
