4. Noura Salman
If you had told me months ago that Noura was one of the more compelling cases to win Survivor: Island of the Idols at the Final Eight, I’d be shocked as hell. It’s more of a median over a mean thing, as the top three have more substantive cases because of the jury members at this time, but Noura is slowly but surely developing a winner’s resume.
She has won two individual Immunity Challenges in quick succession, and she has the second-fewest votes against her in the game. She also has the distinction of never being the voting target of multiple people at Tribal Council, something that only she and Lauren have going for her. She’s also been pushing for some legitimate moves in the game and has even recovered from being on the wrong side of the merge vote.
There’s still the problem with having a ton of people annoyed by Noura in the early days, and she still has moments where she shares Joker laughs at Tribal Council. However, if the glow-up is real for anybody, it’s currently real in favor of Noura Salman heading into the final weeks of the season.
