4. Noura Salman

It cannot be understated just how much Noura had her cover blown at the last Tribal Council. She was fully committed to voting out Tommy as part of a blindside, but Dean completely blew up her spot, and instead of admitting to it, she told unconvincing lies about how she was going to tell Tommy at Tribal Council before Dean beat her to it.

Though she has been an erratic, chaotic force in Survivor: Island of the Idols, Noura would still have a reasonable path to the end in a number of scenarios and, possibly, could convince a jury that she should win over combinations of players such as Dan and Dean. Plus, with Elaine using her idol last week and Dean a challenge threat, she wouldn’t necessarily be targeted first.

What Noura has proven to do is concentrate her inner emotions and focus when it comes to balancing or endurance Immunity Challenges. All she has to do is win a few more to build her resume and, perhaps with one solid move, she has a case to make against weak competitors at the end.

Unfortunately, I think only three players left in the game have a legitimate shot at winning the season the way it’s played out a week shy of a complete journey.
