Survivor Island of the Idols episode 13 power rankings: Insurrectile Dysfunction

3. Lauren Beck

I would normally have Lauren in the second spot on our Survivor: Island of the Idols episode 13 power rankings (where she has been for weeks), but I do have to take into consideration what we saw in this week’s “Next Time On Survivor.” Tommy, while perfectly placating his number one ally, admits in a confessional that he needs to take her out as soon as possible.

Lauren’s edit was fairly minuscule until the merge, and, like everybody who visits the Island of the Idols, it blew up as she illustrated her prowess in the game as part of her test. She has demonstrated a complete game that nobody else has, as she has strategized numerous votes, kept herself off others’ radars, and has even won individual immunity.

However, we do know that her number one ally plans to blindside her, and it’s in others’ best interest to vote her out so that she can’t win the game over them. Plus, Elaine and Noura would rather her go home first than themselves, so it is in everybody’s best interest. I still think she makes it to the finale, if not the Final Five or Final Four.
