With a million dollars on the line, the Survivor: Island of the Idols finale promo hints at one final test given by season’s mentors Boston Rob and Sandra.

The Survivor: Island of the Idols finale promo will show brief scenes that will air in next week’s three-hour finale broadcast.

We already know that Survivor: Island of the Idols will be a season unlike any other, mostly for all the wrong reasons. The dark cloud of Dan’s actions within the game will hover over the reception and feeling it will provide fans for years to come, as many would rather move straight onto season 40 right now and skip all the tension that will come at next week’s live-to-tape reunion.

Alas, it’s unfair for the winner and the runners-up that are still in the game as of the Survivor: Island of the Idols finale promo to pretend their games didn’t exist, so let’s take a look at the commercial currently airing on CBS right now.

As indicated at the end of this week’s episode, Boston Rob Mariano and Sandra Diaz-Twine have gathered the castaways to their humble abode to both drop the hat about the season’s theme to the only person left in the game who hasn’t visited (Tommy) and to give the castaways one last test. The test itself and what the winners can provide to the castaways remains to be seen, but it could be the Immunity Necklace.

It looks like the castaways are running around the island searching for objects or items similar to a scavenger hunt, which may fit into Dean Kowalski’s evolution into “DKVillain” that he hinted at in this week’s episode. Regardless, it’s clearly something everyone in the game wants, so we’ll have to see if lines or crossed or alliances are finally broken at the Final Five.
