Even more time on the Edge, quick conversations, and threat level assessments highlight the Survivor: Winners at War episode 7 promo video.

This Survivor: Winners at War episode 7 promo video will showcase moments that will air during next week’s show at the Final 12.

The fact that we don’t have a merge right now in Survivor is kind of fascinating. If you found that season 38, Edge of Extinction, was a test run for Winners at War, you would assume that we would already have seen one player try to win their way back into the game. Rick Devens made his return to the Final 13 (making it a Final 14) at the merge that season and the hijinx that would ensure would make you think production would try that again.

However, we’re at the Final 12, and we’re getting down to at least the Final 11 before the merge comes this week. You can see as much in the Survivor: Winners at War episode 7 promo for “We’re in the Majors,” with an Edge of Extinction in play suggesting that Ethan Zohn, among others, will be vying for fire tokens in the hopes they can return to the real game.

There are a lot of snippets and quick cuts in this promo, including an interesting ask from Wendell to Michele. “We have to make this conversation very fast,” Wendell asks her, which might suggest a blindside could be in play. He’s already hinted at selling his vote, but giving it away to blindside one of his own would continue to propel his “villainy” arc we’ve seen so far.

Jeff Probst saying “you have to form a trust” at Tribal Council, all while intercutting shots of both Adam and Ben plus Sophie and Sarah, suggests either that one of those pairs has fractured trust or will come together in the name of common threats. Denise suggesting that you better be watching out with these big targets looming while footage cuts to Sarah is a bit suggestive, too.

Survivor: Winners at War has been heating up heading into the merge, and viewership (undoubtedly helped by isolation measures) has reflected that. With big moments, however, comes the hardship of losing more favorites. We’ll see where this heads going into episode 7.
