Ethan Zohn

If there’s one player being propped up by production to rationalize the repeated visits to the Edge of Extinction in 40-minute episodes, it’s Ethan Zohn. His story of perseverance through the darkness is admirable, and his ability to never give up despite his hardships makes him a rootable figure.

Can he beat out this field of challengers in a series of dextrous, tactile obstacles? Only time will tell. Maybe he’ll even use one of his fire tokens to buy an advantage.

Odds he wins the Edge of Extinction Challenge: 5%. He’s well-rounded enough of a competitor, but there are absolute challenge beasts ahead of him. This is a very individual challenge, and he won’t be able to rely on Parvati guiding him through to complete this series of obstacles

Odds he thrives if he returns: 40%. Despite not being a driven strategic force, Ethan is an immeasurably sociable player that has proven to be loyal. If he comes back, I wouldn’t be surprised if he tries to make his way into a swing vote position as he plays a very trustworthy game.

It wouldn’t be prudent for a winning game, and there’s just as much a chance (if not more) he ends right back on the Edge of Extinction due to not finding the right fit.
