Boston Rob Mariano

After succeeding in an oddly-timed Edge of Extinction fire token test where four fire tokens were up for grabs only immediately after he appeared, Boston Rob now has three fire tokens at his disposal. Since he’s nowhere to be found in the press photos taking place in the challenge, I’m led to believe he’s used a few of those tokens to purchase up to the three advantages allotted to him.

Odds he wins the Edge of Extinction Challenge: 20%. Again, because of the circumstances aided by the fire tokens, I think Boston Rob is skilled enough in challenges to persevere and push past more athletic competitors thanks to purchased advantages. He’s just a millionaire in the fire token economy, though, as he’ll be competing with billionaires and actual athletes.

Odds he thrives if she returns: 20%. The reason why many on Sele were upset that Boston Rob was voted out by Adam and Ben’s betrayal was that they wanted to use Massachusetts Bob as their own meat shields. It’s entirely possible that he comes back to the game at the Final 12 and tries to call the shots, and players like Jeremy and Michele would more than welcome it.

Is it a winning move in the long term? No, as Boston Rob is playing against actual good competitors this time around!
