9. Tyson Apostol

Though I’m glad that Tyson made his way back into the game, it didn’t come with the same fervor or support that you would hope to see if you’re an ardent fan. He offered a great deal of introspection about his status on the new merge tribe, but when it came to how he knew who to vote for or his thoughts on who should be voted out, he was on the outs.

Not that there weren’t many people who had their perspective out of the edit, however, Tyson needed to find an in with a group. Sure, whatever he had with Ben, Tony, Jeremy, and Wendell looked to be the power group in charge, but it seemed as though Tyson was tertiary, at best. He wasn’t even part of the group discussions most of the time, even as they didn’t ultimately get their way.

Tyson is the lone “old-school” player on a tribe of new players looking to establish their legacy. He doesn’t have that many connections outside of Jeremy and Kim thanks to the loose definition of the poker players group. Even there, it made those players become a target, and he is evidence that kind of connection will get you voted out.
