Just when it seemed there was order in the game, Survivor: Winners at War episode 12 press photos showcase the chaos that comes with a potential tie vote.
These Survivor: Winners at War episode 12 press photos for “Friendly Fire” will showcase moments from this week’s show via screengrabs.
“We were fine” seems to be a prevailing thought in Sarah Lacina’s mind this week in Survivor, especially being vocalized in the sneak peek video. In her mind, she was in a good position to kick it with the people she wanted all the way to the end, only for her closest ally to betray her and screw her game.
On the other hand, Tony Vlachos, a player who has demonstrated a need to control the votes no matter the scenario, saw his grip on Sarah being loosened by her closeness with Sophie, so he just had to enact a legendary 4-3-2 move to better manage his relationship with his Cops-R-Us duo.
Now we’re in a position where there are two four-person voting blocs, meaning we could see a mad scramble to avoid another rock draw scenario. That seems to be the feeling indicated in the Survivor: Winners at War episode 12 press photos, which have just been released ahead of this week’s show.
This scene makes it look like Tony and Sarah were sitting on these rocks and arguing all night, although I’m fairly certain they’re on opposite ends of this conversation. Maybe they want to leverage who they’re targeting next (if they are still working together).
It’s been a hot minute since these two have been in a conversation, as I’m fairly certain players are dancing around being upset with Nick, who voted with Kim one week and betrayed her the next.
Denise seems to be in the same position, as last week, she seemed to be actively playing both sides. Little did she know that Michele and Nick would beat her to the punch.
This is a very interesting shot from Jeremy Collins, as he’s likely suggesting Tony and Sarah are close *like this* to whoever he’s talking to. Maybe Jeremy isn’t as close a number for Tony as he once thought.
That’s right, yet another grueling challenge is coming to the Edge of Extinction, as nothing comes free for those on the Edge. Well, a Loved Ones’ visit comes free, but still…
It seems like this might be more of a race than a cooperative event, especially with players seemingly going as fast as they can.
As you can see from this shot, it appears players will need to climb to the top of the island to retrieve coconuts and bring them back to camp.
The reason I presume this is a race is because of this shot of Natalie looking over her shoulder at Sophie trailing behind her.
Additional reasoning is seeing Ethan Zohn left behind in the dust, especially after players rallied around him to help him accomplish his task the first endurance challenge on the island.
The Immunity Challenge is a classic throwback where players have to hold a hand high in the air as long as possible. Each player to drop out will get dunked with water until somebody takes a victory splash. Also, interesting to note that Sarah is going full Wendell with the toothpick look.
It seems like Ben has a frayed relationship with at least one other person in Survivor: Winners at War, no matter the tribe. Jeremy seems to be the person he’s been on opposite sides with lately, and this conversation seems a bit heated.
Nick and Michele seem to be a hot commodity this round despite often being on the outs of many primary voting plans. Now that they can choose the fate of others, how the turntables…
Another scene of Tony and Sarah strategizing makes it look more and more like they will, in fact, be working together until the end … of, at least, this episode.
I also had to include this shot of Tony Vlachos, begging Ben for whatever favor he’s going to ask him. Maybe he’s trying to bring the “big threats alliance” mentality back for another round?
