Survivor Winners at War episode 13 power rankings: Coronation Street
6. Nick Wilson
If there’s anybody who has proven to provide anything and everything on behalf of other players, it’s Nick Wilson. This past week’s show better explained his strategy, showing that he’s actively thinking about who he wants to work with and how to position himself to put him in a spot at the Final Tribal Council. From an editing standpoint, it’s a lot more promising than what we’ve seen with other “lesser threat” winners (to use Tony’s vernacular).
The problem with Nick’s game is that he continues to have very little agency in the flow of his game, as he seems to be floating along in the winds of others’ fortune. Sure, he can rationalize it however he wants when giving confessionals, but there’s only so far having a strong social game can take you, especially when others’ social games are strong enough to make historically great moves.
One thing that Nick has over Michele is that he seems to be voting in the right direction more often than not, and it seems as though he has a tight connection with her. Both Nick and Michele can levy their relationships to play the middle through to the end, and one of them can likely succeed. However, seeing how Tony treats his loyal numbers, who knows how long Nick will last.
