15. Kaoh Rong (Season 32)
Survivor: Kaoh Rong is another season that is, once again, undeniably average. Split into three tribes of Brains, Beauty and Brawn, there were plenty of memorable characters on the show. However, the interesting part of that is one of those characters ultimately didn’t win the $1 million. That was Michele Fitzgerald that took home that prize in the end.
Along the way, there were also a number of great moments, including some wicked blindsides that were truly shocking. Tai Trang not giving Scot Pollard his idol to save him certainly ranks chief among them—even if it might’ve affected the game in the end with jury influencing. Unfortunately, perhaps the most memorable aspect of Kaoh Rong is just that gameplay was sloppy from many of the key players.
Whether you’re talking about Scot and Jason Kyle being bullies and that costing them, Tai getting anxious and playing his wrong hand, or even Aubry Bracco playing a game that was clearly predicated on fear of threats, this all caused pivotal players to make dumb moves and mistakes. That type of sloppiness is hard to watch at times and happens to hold back what could’ve been a much better season.
