7. Cambodia – Second Chance (Season 31)

Cambodia – Second Chance is one of the better twists for a season that they’ve ever come up with. With the fans of the show voting on which players—non-winners, specifically—they wanted to return, it was a nice wrinkle to the season. There were plenty of other interesting wrinkles that we’d never seen before that took place in the 31st installment.

Like we saw in just the third episode of Game ChangersSecond Chance also featured the first time that two tribes were divided into three as the result of a swap. What’s more, this was also the first time that Hidden Immunity Idols were placed in challenges, which is one of the better ideas that the producers have ever come up with, upping the stakes of trying to make a play for the idol at a challenge.

However, what holds Cambodia back from being higher in these rankings is another instance of a season almost being too dominant. Jeremy Collins came back and simply ran through the competition with ease. He was a physical threat to a degree, but his strategy and social game were unmatched by any of the 19 other castaways. Subsequently, the drama was lessened a bit and keeps the season from being among the very best ever.
