Colton Cumbie

I’ve mentioned Colton a few times already and it’s hard to discuss Survivor: One World without mentioning him. He was a huge character in the pre-merge stage of the game, but he was medically evacuated on Day 16, right before the merge.

Colton was just not a pleasant person and that was made perfectly clear with the way he treated Christina and Bill and also the comments he made about people like Leif in his confessionals. The tribal council that the men volunteered to go to is really cringeworthy to watch because of how ignorant Colton was.

He was only 20 years old on One World and still had a lot of growing up to do, but it’s safe to say that not a lot of people felt sorry for Colton when he was medically evacuated from the game. His behavior on Blood vs Water didn’t help his case either, as he quit that season when no one wanted to strategize with him.

Kat Edorsson

Oh Kat – One of the most interesting characters to play in the 20s era of Survivor for sure. Kat might not have been the brightest crayon in the box, but she was really entertaining because of how um – ditzy she was.

One of the funniest moments in Survivor history is when Kat is going on and on at tribal council about how much she loves when people get blindsided because of how funny it is. Moments later, she herself is blindsided and leaves tribal council in tears. It might seem cruel, but it was hilarious.

Kat was mostly comic relief in a season that didn’t have much of that, but honestly, she’s responsible for one of the most touching moments of the season. Her jury speech was inspirational and still a tear jerker to this day.

Here’s to you, Kat. Thanks for being one of the few great characters on Survivor: One World.
