Best Blindside from Survivor: Samoa – Kelly
There was a Kelly on Survivor: Samoa? You might not remember her for much that season, but Kelly’s blindside was the best of the entire 19th season.
By this point, Galu held a 7-4 advantage over Foa Foa. They had sacrificed one of their own the week before by blindsiding Erik, but once he was gone, it was time to take out the Foa Foa four one-by-one.
Or so Galu thought.
Russell played his idol, negating the seven votes cast for him, while he and his Foa Foa alliance put their votes on Kelly. The four votes were enough and Kelly was sent packing.
Best Blindside from Survivor: Heroes vs Villains – J.T.
The best blindside from Survivor: Heroes vs Villains is also one of the best tribal councils in Survivor history. When the two tribes merged in Heroes vs Villains, it was five Heroes and five Villains remaining, meaning we were in for a good one.
The Heroes were convinced that Russell was on their side (well, not all of them) and therefore felt confident heading into the vote. Well, thanks to J.T. giving Russell his idol a few days prior, the Villains were armed with two idols.
Parvati played both idols, giving one to Sandra and one to Jerri – who the Heroes put their five votes on – and were able to get J.T. out of the game and take control the rest of the way. J.T. muttered “Dammit” as soon as Parvati announced she’d be giving an idol to Jerri because he knew his days were numbered.
