Best Blindside from Survivor: Guatemala – Judd

Judd was in a great spot to make it to the end of Survivor: Guatemala and he did it by aligning with the right people prior to the merge. Judd won challenges and was definitely a threat, so when he took Cindy and Stephenie (and their loved ones) with him and his wife on a reward, Danni made a pact with the others who were left behind to get Judd out, blindsiding him at the final six.

Judd clearly didn’t see it coming and on his way out, told his fellow tribe mates that he hoped they got bitten by a crocodile. He also referred to them as “scumbags”.

Best Blindside from Survivor: Panama – Courtney

Courtney was the victim of the original 3-2-1 vote, which originated in Survivor: Panama. Prior to that, she was in an alliance with Aras, Danielle, and Shane and that alliance also picked up Bruce and Cirie as well once the two tribes merged.

The Casaya 6 remained strong, but once Terry won immunity at the final six, they were forced to turn on one another (Bruce was medically evacuated at final seven). Courtney was a popular pick to take to the end because, as Shane said, “Anyone can beat her”, which is precisely why Cirie campaigned to get her out.

Cirie and Danielle assured Courtney and Terry they were going along with him and ousting Aras, but instead, the three of them put their votes on Courtney, which was the majority. Courtney went home and this vote was pure genius from Cirie.
