Best Blindside from Survivor: China – James

Survivor: China was a tough season to pick from simply because there were so many fun blindsides this season, but I went with James due to him being blindsided with two idols in his bag. Two!

James had acquired the first one from Todd when the two tribes had switched, but that one didn’t have to get used due to Fei Long losing the challenge and going to tribal council instead. James found the other idol and was armed with two when the tribes merged and his alliance knew they needed to get him out before he became too invincible.

When this first occurred, many thought James might have been one of the dumbest players ever for failing to play one of his two idols at this point of the game.

Best Blindside from Survivor: Micronesia – Ozzy

Like China, it was hard to pick just one blindside in Survivor: Micronesia, but I went with Ozzy’s boot. Ozzy had an idol that he had found early on during his time on Exile Island and he was the first victim of the Black Widow Brigade alliance.

Ozzy was absolutely stunned when he was taken out, which is puzzling because he was the most athletic player remaining in the game and had made it all the way to the end in Cook Islands. He should have seen it coming, but he didn’t, and he was really upset with Parvati for taking him out and making him feel foolish.
