Most lopsided tribe switches in Survivor history
Tribe switches are a staple of Survivor and have only not been used in nine seasons. During that time, it’s given us some pretty funny results.
One World landed in the top spot here, but Blood vs Water and Caramoan were also contenders for that top spot. Anytime there’s a clear divide when it comes to the athletes and the non-athletes or there’s a lopsided divide in genders, those are typically the most uneven swaps.
There was a switch in Fiji where the new Ravu tribe was made up of all men (and eventually Lisi), but they had to live on the “Have Nots” beach and therefore lost all but one challenge. I didn’t include them for that reason because many would have assumed they’d dominate the challenges, but they didn’t.
Tribe swaps are going to continue to be a critical part of Survivor and it was the first true twist in the show’s history. Maybe some day we’ll be able to add another lopsided new tribe to this list, but for now, these are the six most uneven, mismatched, crazily hilarious lopsided tribes in Survivor history.
