1. Parvati Shallow

Second season: Micronesia

Parvati is number one on here for one main reason: She went from a forgettable player in Cook Islands (a season filled with memorable players) to getting brought back for Micronesia, completely changing her game, and WINNING the season. Not only did she win Micronesia, but Parvati is still considered to be one of the best winners ever.

In Cook Islands, Parvati didn’t really seem to care about the game much. She was really angry with Penner when he sided with the Aitu 4 to vote off Nate and continued to be bitter until Penner was taken out. She really was just a follower in Cook Islands.

Now, fun fact: Candice was actually invited for Micronesia, but turned it down. Parvati got her spot instead and well, the rest is history. Parvati invented the Black Widow Brigade and won the season in dominating fashion. While her second outing was impressive, Parvati returned two more times and made it to the end in her third appearance.

Parvati should have been the first two-time winner for what she was able to accomplish in Heroes vs Villains, but she finished as the runner-up. Even still, her game in Heroes vs Villains cemented her as one of Survivor‘s all-time greats, but that doesn’t happen without her second-time performance in Micronesia. Without that, she’s that forgettable boxer from Cook Islands who didn’t really want to play the game.

She’s easily the player who benefitted the most from getting another chance to play Survivor. We’re all winners as well because imagine Micronesia and Heroes vs Villains without Parvati. No one wants to imagine a world where Parvati isn’t on either of those seasons.
