Survivor: Ranking players who have participated in back-to-back seasons
There have been 10 contestants who have played in back-to-back seasons of Survivor.
Occasionally, Survivor will hold a returnee season and someone from the season right before will be invited back to play again right after their first appearance. Sometimes this means the player is home for maybe a month or two before they hop back on a plane and head out to play Survivor for a second time. Other times, there’s some time in between each season, but either way, playing in back-to-back seasons is hard no matter what the situation is.
Ten contestants have played in back-to-back seasons and this has been something we’ve seen happen throughout the history of the show. It first happened in the seventh and eighth seasons of the show when Rupert Boneham played in Pearl Islands and All-Stars and as recently as seasons 33 and 34 when Michaela Bradshaw and Zeke Smith returned for Game Changers after having appeared in Millennials vs Gen X.
Playing Survivor once is tough enough as it is, but imagine putting your body through all of that turmoil, getting home, and then turning around not long after the fact and playing for a second straight time! It’s not a challenge that many people are up to do, but these 10 player have done just that.
The biggest thing I took into account with these rankings was placement on the second season, but it wasn’t the end all be all. Hopefully you all enjoy this post even though I’m sure people won’t agree with my rankings. That’s fine if not, feel free to voice your opinions (politely) in the comment section below.
So, without further ado, let’s rank every single back-to-back season Survivor player.
