Most Invisible Survivor Contestants – – Number 8: Artis, Philippines (8)

Even the biggest Survivor fans would have a hard time remembering who Artis Silvester is. That’s because he had just eight confessionals during his nine episodes on Survivor: Philippines. Artis was a member of the Tandang tribe and was a part of the majority alliance, but that’s about as much as we learned about him during the course of the show.

Any time he was shown on screen, Artis was grumpy about something. He was really vocal about his tribe not just handing the reward over to Kalabaw in the reward challenge where the tribes agreed to negotiate rather than play out the challenge, but he was outnumbered. He also frequently mentioned how much he disliked Michael Skupin (boy, was he ahead of the times on that one).

Artis was blindsided in episode nine and had four of his eight confessionals in his final four episodes. Artis is someone who could honestly deny ever being on Survivor because it really never felt like he was on the show.
