Most Invisible Survivor Contestants – – Number 3: Whitney, South Pacific (4)

While she only had four total confessionals on South Pacific, Whitney Duncan didn’t seem to be as ignored as a lot of these players were. For one, she found love on the show, as she and Keith aligned early on and ended up getting married after their season was over (they appeared on The Amazing Race together too).

Secondly, Whitney was one of the more vocal Savaii members to really lay into Cochran after he flipped on his alliance at the merge, giving Upolu the advantage the rest of the way. She went as far as to tell Cochran that he disgusted her (this is what she’s most remembered for, even more than finding her husband on the show).

So, if Whitney had notable screen time, why is she third on these rankings? Well, she still had just four confessionals despite making it to the merge, which is a very low number. She didn’t get a confessional until episode five and had half of her season total that week.

Yeah, South Pacific was poorly edited for anyone not named Coach, Ozzy, Brandon, or Cochran, and Whitney wasn’t any of those people, so she was ignored. Whitney did find her future husband on the show though, so I doubt she’s all that torn up about it.
