Survivor fans are benefiting from the extended break
By Sean Cole
If you are like me, you are more than likely staying at home and not taking any chances when it comes to the pandemic. The question is?. What do you do while you are homebound? For most, it may be catching up on a little bit of TV and if you are watching the boob tube, then you are either binging old or new shows or getting back into shows that you just haven’t watched in a while.
Now is the perfect time to get your fill of Survivor. As a Survivor fan, there are three ways that this extended break is benefiting you.
First, for all of the Survivor super fans, this is your opportunity to get your Survivor fix on. Pick the season that you loved or the season you loved to hate or just get settled in for any season of Survivor because after all, it is Survivor right.
The second way the extended break is benefitting fans is for all those people that are stuck at home and can’t find anything to watch. As you grab a beverage and favorite snacks, you start flipping through the channels and as you do, you see this show called Survivor. So, you watch a couple of episodes and then BAM!!!!. You are now a new fan and you just can’t get enough.

The third way the extended break is benefitting fans and, I must say I fall into this category, is it’s giving fans time to catch up on seasons they might have missed.
Maybe you use to be a super fan, but for some reason stopped watching. This could be for any number of reasons, but as you are stuck at home and wondering what to watch, the light bulb pops in your head, and then it’s on. It is now time to catch up on all the Survivor that you missed and you just can’t stop watching.
For the super fans, the new fans and for those fans looking to get back to super fan status, this extended break from the filming of Survivor 41 has given us all something and that is the chance to get our Survivor on. Plus there are always going to be some things that will never change when it comes to Survivor.
Survivor staples sure to continue after pandemic
1. Blindsides will always be awesome!.
2. The most obvious vote will not be the person going home.
3. Overthinkers of the game will certainly be gone rather quickly.
4. It’s ok to ride coattails, as long as you grow as a person along the way.
5. Make sure that the hidden immunity idol is real and not a fake.
6. Players have the numbers when it’s time to vote, nah they will make there move, who needs numbers.
7. Backstabbing when it comes time to vote is not lying, it is a change of heart.
8. Hearing my two favorite phrases from Jeff Probst: ”Come on in guys” and “The tribe has spoken.”
I can not wait for Season 41 to start, but in the meantime Survivor fans, enjoy this extended break and get your Survivor on. If you don’t binge-watch at least five episodes or more at a time, then you must go to the tribal council.
