Survivor Season 41 updates: CBS eyeing change to themed titles

Well folks, here we are back again with some Survivor season 41 news.

Season 41 of Survivor could be the defining moment in the history of Survivor. We now know that in the upcoming seasons including Season 41 and Season 42 there will be 26 – 29 days of the game instead of the normal 39 days like Survivor fans are accustomed to.

Now it seems there is another notable change coming with Survivor season 41. For all you Survivor fans, this is likely to be viewed as a good thing or a major catastrophe. It all depends on how you see things. So, hold on to your hats for those who do not like change.

What is the Survivor season 41 title?

According to Inside Survivor, the new title for Survivor 41 Title is Season 41. That’s right the new season of Survivor will be called Season 41, with no plans for a themed title.

If you think about it, I’m not sure what other choices that they had. You can only have so many titles with Fiji in the name and since there have been multiple seasons in Fiji, it kind of makes some sense to make a change at this point. With what has transpired with the pandemic among other things, this could be a change that could chart a new course for the game of Survivor.

With this so-called changing of the show title, who knows what else could be changing in the future for Survivor. Will the game change as well, such as tribe names, division of tribes, challenges, tribal council, etc? We do not have any idea what Survivor season 41 will hold for us, there could be some changes in the works, for our favorite show. But, with this change two things to me are clear.

First, they want to keep Survivor going as long as they can possibly can. The show is still very popular and has become a weekly staple of watching it each week on CBS. Survivor nights are always fun, am I right!

Secondly, whether you hate to admit it or not, times are changing and that also goes for television. So, with that said, Survivor must also change with the times to a certain extent because if they don’t produce results, they cannot continue to be on air. I’m pretty sure CBS, knows it’s moneymakers and flops, or those that need to fade off in the sunset.

My point is, is that in a strange way, Survivor is being forced to change, so now would be the opportunity to do just that. Now I know that diehard Survivor fans do not want any changes, as change is viewed by some as potentially ruining the game of Survivor. But, there are those that are newcomers or perhaps will be checking out Survivor for the first time. Survivor season 41 could be, if you think about it, the defining moment on just how long Survivor will be on CBS.
