Survivor Season 42 is coming in 2022 (find out what we know so far)

Well Survivor fans, we have made it through another season of our favorite reality show as a new Survivor winner has been crowned. With the season complete, it’s time to now look forward to Survivor season 42, coming in 2022!

Season 41 is in the books and it was a season to remember for both good and bad things. But, regardless it was definitely worth the wait, well depending on your views and how you see the world.

Erika Casupanan was crowned the winner of season 41 in a landslide vote. Erika became the first woman to win Survivor in seven seasons when she was crowned the champion of Survivor 41 in a blowout 7-1-0 vote over Deshawn Radden and Xander Hastings (who was the real winner of Season 41). Erika also became the first Canadian to ever win the game after our neighbors up north were first allowed to play starting in season 39.

So, now that a new champion has been anointed, it is time to run our attention to Survivor season 42.

Survivor season 42 spoilers: What we know so far about Survivor 42

Season 42 was also filmed in Fuji, as the new season started filming this past June 2021 as soon as Season 41 was completed. The same protocols I would assume are in place in terms of the cast and crew being safe while filming due to the pandemic.

I believe it is also safe to say that format will also resemble season 41 in that there will again be 18 castaways who will be divided into three tribes and the same twists and advantages might come into play. But, don’t be surprised if there are a few different twists or perhaps something to shake things up.

With that said, Survivor season 42 is set to premiere on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 8/7c and what better way to kick off the season than with a two-hour episode!

What better way to get ready for the new season than to reveal the list of cast members rumored to be competing as part of the Survivor season 42 cast?! According to Inside Survivor, the season 42 cast is said to contain a diverse group of castaways which will include a law clerk, designer, retired firefighter, and several students.
