Best Survivor Winners No. 30: Yam Yam Arocho (Survivor 44)
Survivor 44 was a fun season with a lot of really likable characters. One of the most fun characters this season was definitely Yam Yam, who went on to win the whole she-bang. The Tika 3, which consisted of Yam Yam, Carolyn, and Carson were a popular trio and they made it to the final four together.
Yam Yam was in control for a lot of the post-merge even though he was down in numbers. He had an excellent social game, won an immunity challenge, and didn't have to rely on twists and advantages to save him as some of the other winners on this list did. He was pretty dominant or at least the edit led us to believe that he was.
A knock I have on Yam Yam, however, is that he appeared willing to go to the end with Carson, who surely would have beaten him at the final tribal council.
