Best Survivor Winners No. 23: Dee Valladares (Survivor 45)
When it comes to winners who had a strong grasp on the game the entire time, Dee certainly falls into that category. She was a part of the Reba 4, who, thanks to Belo self-destructing, were able to take control of the game post-merge.
Dee's biggest move was when Julie was in jeopardy of being voted out. Austin opted to tell Dee that the others were planning on blindsiding Julie but Dee couldn't keep it a secret. She told Julie about it so that Julie would use her idol to save herself and take out Emily instead.
It felt that whenever Dee wanted someone out, come hell or high water, she was going to get them out. She didn't have a strong tribal council, however, and was okay going to the end with Julie, who was a big threat to win. It's also hard for me to put anyone from the new era in the top 20 since they play nearly two fewer weeks.
