Best Survivor Winners No. 13: Jeremy Collins (Survivor Cambodia)
In a season like Second Chances, where nobody had won, and nobody had played more than once, shifting gameplay strategies ruled the day.
More gamebots went far in this season than any other, as voting blocs completely changed the way a 20-player, two-tribe beginning would ever conclude. Yet, it was a mixture of heart and hustle that won Jeremy Collins the title of Sole Survivor.
To be fair, Jeremy only went to tribal council once before the merge, meaning the multiple swaps before then allowed him to nurture relationships while staying in a power position.
However, it’s at immunity challenges that he either found hidden immunity idols or clues to their whereabouts, finding and successfully using two at key moments.
His personable approach to the game, adopting a meat shield strategy of hiding behind, and partnering with, bigger threats and opening up his heart and staying true to his gameplay at the final tribal council solidified his status as a unanimous winner.
