Best Survivor Winners No. 10: Brian Heidik (Survivor Thailand)

Brian Heidik saw Survivor for what it is; a game show competition for a million dollars. However, his approach differed from most others to play the game in that he participated completely with that mindset, treating others as mere players on his journey to victory

. He crafted a personality that felt necessary to win a jury of your peers, and he sought to bring a lesser player all the way to the end.

Brian Heidik demonstrated a gameplay strategy unthought of in his approach to the game, very much acting in a way a sociopath does in trying to manipulate whatever situation at hand.

There’s no way that Brian Heidik makes it back to the show, as he is truly a despicable human being completely unhinged from how society works.

However awful he is as a person, he seemed destined to define the lines a player can cross in the game of Survivor through his gameplay. He is as important to the game as more prominent players who don’t have deeply disturbing worldviews.
