The Survivor 48 players are switching tribes in the new episode of the series, "The House Party's Over," the fourth episode of the season, which airs on Wednesday, March 19.
There are a few players who are likely going to benefit from a tribe swap, but there are a few players who are probably going to be in a tough spot after they end up on a new tribe. We shared three players who might actually have it harder on their new tribe in Survivor 48.
Cedrek McFadden

Look, Cedrek McFadden has had a rough go on Survivor 48 so far. He's really struggled in a number of challenges, and his tribe has lost every single challenge he's been a part of. Yet, he still remains in the game!
While the tribe swap might bring some temporary relief and comfort to Cedrek and the other Vula members, Cedrek always had an ally in the game. Through the first three episodes, he's had Sai Hughley and Justin Pioppi to work with. Granted, Cedrek had to make a choice to vote off an ally in Justin in episode 3, but he voted for every player on his tribe in one Tribal Council and changed his vote three times. It's probably the only time that's happened in Survivor history. Even if he ends up on a tribe with Sai or Mary Zheng, will they want to work with him?
Based on how poorly he's performed in challenges, he might be a liability for any tribe. That's a hard reputation to break when winning immunity and tribe strength continue to be the most important things in Survivor 48 until the merge.
Thomas Krottinger

Thomas Krottinger is in a really good spot right now, so I'm a little bit worried about how changing things up for him right now. On the Lagi tribe, he's clearly the most crucial member of several alliances. He basically could dictate how a vote would play out with the Lagi players. Now, a change in that dynamic is bad for him regardless of where he ends up.
Thomas does have an advantage, so I could see him making a move at the next Tribal Council he's a part of, especially if he's on the bottom. He should be around for at least a few more episodes if he plays his cards right, but there was a realistic chance he was going to head into the merge with an alliance of three or four players. With his scheming and a near-majority? Things could have been Thomas's for the taking in Survivor 48.
Star Toomey

Like Thomas, Star Toomey is in an interesting position for the opposite reason. Star didn't have a lot of options in the game until she found the Beware Advantage, which could lead to an immunity idol should she solve the puzzle. Well, that seemed to turn the game for Star in a positive direction. Now, she might be in trouble.
Star has not solved the puzzle yet, which leaves her without a vote potentially. Going to a new tribe without a vote is quick way out of the game.
Now, if Star can solve the puzzle and get the immunity idol, that changes everything. My question is, if Star is not on the Lagi tribe anymore, how will she be able to solve the puzzle when she needs the landmarks and key to solve the puzzle? That could be an interesting development to watch.
