Survivor 50 might not begin until February 25, but Jeff Probst is ready to put on his hosting cap early to help promote the upcoming historic season!
As the latest batch of The Price is Right at Night episodes comes to a close, CBS has tapped Probst to co-host the season finale of the latest primetime cycle for the long-running daytime staple. The season finale will see Probst joining host Drew Carey for a celebration of the 50th season of Survivor with contestants vying for Survivor-inspired prizes.
CBS is going all-out for the celebration with the entire audience filled with Survivor fans who are hoping to get the chance to come on down to Contestants’ Row. Once on the stage, the lucky contestants will get the chance to play for some amazing prizes including breathtaking getaways to French Polynesia, Australia, Samoa, the Cook Islands and Thailand. The night will then conclude with one lucky player walking away victorious in the Showcase Showdown where they’ll have the chance to win a showcase filled with “adventure-packed destinations” and who knows, maybe a car or two will be thrown into the mix as well!
Fans should be in for a fun night, and it'll be nice to see Probst back on our screens ahead of Survivor 50. We can't wait to see Probst have a bit of fun alongside Carey as the pair hand out Survivor-inspired prizes and celebrate the 50th season with help from the Survivor fans in the audience.
It’s a fitting way to kick off the Survivor 50 countdown on CBS, and Probst is certainly no stranger to The Price is Right family. He previously dropped by for The Price is Right at Night’s season 5 premiere which also featured a Survivor-themed episode in celebration of Survivor 45. Probst was also on hand to help The Price is Right celebrate the show’s 50th Anniversary back in 2022, dropping in for CBS’s The Price is Right 50th Anniversary Special honoring the legacy of the beloved game show.
Following the special Survivor 50 edition of The Price is Right at Night airing on February 4 at 8/7c, CBS will begin its Survivor 50 countdown with a number of special presentations revisiting iconic moments from the past seasons.
