Boston Rob and Amber Mariano (Brkich) are two of Survivor's biggest stars. The couple has competed a combined eight times on Survivor, including Survivor: All-Stars and Survivor: Winners at War where they competed against each other. They also competed on two seasons of The Amazing Race as partners.

Before Survivor: All-Stars, Amber competed on the second season of the series, Survivor: Australian Outback, while Boston Rob appeared on the show's fourth season, Survivor: Marquesas. Amber finished sixth on that season. Boston Rob, on the other hand, placed 10th.

Boston Rob is back on reality TV, competing on NBC's Deal or No Deal. Although he's back on the game show, he's not necessarily lining up his return to Survivor, not as a contestant anyway.

The couple met on Survivor: All-Stars in 2004 and got engaged during the live finale

Boston Rob and Amber met as contestants on Survivor: All-Stars, the eighth season of the hit reality series. It was filmed in November to December 2003. It premiered on CBS on Feb. 1, 2004, and aired through May 13.

That means Boston Rob and Amber have known each other, officially, for more than 20 years, as of November 2023.

During Survivor: All-Stars, Boston Rob and Amber formed an alliance that took them to the final two. Amber won Survivor: All-Stars, besting Boston Rob on a 4-3 vote from the jury. After Amber was announced as the winner of the season during the live finale from Madison Square Garden in New York City, Boston Rob got down on one knee and proposed.

The couple officially got engaged on May 13, 2004. They married a year later in the Bahamas. CBS filmed the wedding for a TV special, Rob and Amber Get Married.

According to Heavy, Amber had this to say about her time with Rob on the series.

"I love our story. I love that I have such a unique story to tell. One day we’re going to have such a great story to tell our grandchildren."

Let's get this out of the way first! Yes, Boston Rob and Amber are still together in 2024. They have officially been together for more than two decades. They'll be celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary on April 16, 2025.

After getting married in 2005, Boston Rob and Amber continued to compete on reality shows. As mentioned, they starred in The Amazing Race together.

In 2009, their first daughter, Lucia, was born, followed by Carina in 2010. Isabetta and Adelina were born in 2012 and 2014, respectively. All of their children share the same middle name, Rose.

In 2010, Boston Rob returned for Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, finishing 13th. He returned again to the game in 2011 for Survivor: Redemption Island. Finally, on his fourth time on Survivor, Boston Rob won the game.

Boston Rob featured as a mentor on Survivor: Island of the Idols in 2019, but he did not compete in that season. Instead, he returned one final time, along with Amber, for Survivor: Winners at War, which brought back many of the show's winners. They didn't fare all that well on the season. Amber was the second person voted out of Winners at War, while Boston Rob was voted out sixth. The couple was clearly targeted. None of the other contestants wanted to see Amber and Boston Rob back together after two wins and a runner-up finish in previous seasons.

Recently, Boston Rob told EW why he returned for that one last season.

"Season 40 was special. It was Winners at War, it was all the winners, and Survivor had given me so much in my life up to that point that I felt an obligation to go there. And I wanted to be there just because we got another round number."

They couple's four daughters did get to make the trip out for Winners at War.

So, that's Boston Rob and Amber. It doesn't sound like we'll be seeing the couple return to Survivor anytime soon, but it's great to see Boston Rob competing on TV once more in other hit shows.
