6. Sam Phalen

Nightmare Fuel
“Nightmare Fuel” – Castaways must choose wisely as they split themselves into pairs at a crucial multi-staged immunity challenge. The deck is stacked against castaways when they embark on a journey that can drastically affect their game. Then, different names are tossed out at camp as paranoia ensues, leading to another crazy tribal council, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, Nov. 13 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with | CBS

Sam hasn't played a bad game to this point, but he has one of the more tenuous positions in the game because he doesn't have anyone he can fully trust (does anyone at this point?). He is playing the "anyone but me" strategy right now, and it's working. He hasn't made many enemies, and if he can find a way to slip through the cracks a little longer, he could find a way to get to the final three.

He hasn't been all that good in immunity challenges so far, and he could advance his game if he could take out Kyle in a challenge. It would also move the target onto him if he did so. He would be smart to maintain his position at least another vote or two and let some of the bigger perceived threats fall to the wayside.

5. Teeny Chirichillo

Loyal to the Soil

During episode 1, Teeny looked like someone who could make it to the final three. She still could, but not for the reasons we thought initially. She's played a rather toothless game to this point, often on the wrong side, and her alliances haven't worked out for her.

She wants to take out Genevieve because of the latter's role in getting Sol out of the game, but at this point, that wouldn't be that big of a move. Genevieve is on everyone's radar. Teeny has a great social presence and doesn't seem to have any enemies. At this point, she may qualify as someone others want to sit next to in the final three because her resume is light on accomplishments.

Her touching confessionals in episode 10 may earn her sympathy votes with the audience, but the jury will know nothing about them, and they won't help her win Survivor 47.

4. Andy Rueda

Loyal to the Soil

The longer Andy remains in the game, the more I feel in my gut that he's going to make it to the final three. His biggest enemy will be himself, as he's been working with every person in the game, building their trust. In their eyes, he's harmless, but he's far from it at this point in the game.

Often, players who spread their allegiances too far end up getting caught in that and get sent to the jury. So far, Andy has let himself be a vote, going along with the majority. He does have one big move when he engineered Sierra Wright's seat on the jury, but if he can pull off one more unexpected blindside and survive, he could win it all.
