Survivor 49 elimination order: Everyone voted out so far

We're almost to the end of Survivor 49!

We're officially at the biggest part of Survivor 49! There are only six players left on this season, and we only have one more episode before the Survivor 49 finale!

With two episodes left, the game is wide open. Whoever makes the moves during these final episodes is going to win the season, but we're starting to see the winning moves finally happening.

We reached the merge seven episodes into the season. Now, we know the first three members of the jury, and it's absolutely not the players who I thought would be getting voted out this early in the game. Episode 8, "Hot Grim Reaper," featured an even more shocking twist that featured a small group voting out one player, while the challenge winners— for the most part— remained back at the camp. Episode 9 also featured a shocking—mentally puzzling for fans— elimination!

If you want to know the complete elimination order for Survivor 49, we have you covered! We shared all the players voted out so far, along with a short description of what went wrong for their games. So far, it's been pretty obvious what went wrong, but I have a feeling this season is just about to get started.

Let's get the Survivor 49 elimination order started with the first player voted out of the game, Nicole Mazullo.

Nicole Mazullo

Act One of a Horror Film
“Act One of a Horror Film” – 18 strangers are abandoned on the islands of Fiji with the chance to win $1 million. Tribes must claim victory in the grueling marooning challenge to earn essential camp supplies. Then castaways are chosen to face off with a huge reward on the line, on the two-hour season premiere of SURVIVOR, Wednesday, Sept. 24 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand

Voted out: First (Kele)

Nicole Mazullo was unfortunately the dreaded first boot of the season. After losing the Marooning challenge and Alex Moore failing to beat Rizo Velovic during the one-on-one battle for supplies on the first day in the game, the Kele tribe really struggled. Nicole found herself on the outside of the four player majority alliance of Jake Latimer, Sophi Balerdi, Jeremiah Ing, and Alex.

After losing the immunity challenge, the alliance identified Nicole as one of the weaker players in the challenge, so they wanted to vote her out to have a better chance to win immunity challenges going forward. Then, the vote seemed to turn toward Annie Davis after she started getting a little too far ahead of herself with some move-making. Eventually, the vote swung back to Nicole, and she was voted out.

Annie Davis

Voted out: Second (Kele)

After barely skirting by in the season premiere, Annie Davis was voted out of Survivor 49 in the second episode of the season, "Cinema."

Again, Kele lost a huge lead to lose the immunity challenge to the Hina and Uli tribe despite the Hina tribe getting gifted with a disadvantage. It's no surprise that Annie was targeted with the second vote of the season. She was probably the weakest of the remaining Kele tribe, and she started to rub some of the players the wrong way during the episode by trying to take more of a leadership position on the tribe.

Still, there was some conversations, but Kele decided to keep the tribe as strong as possible heading into the third episode.

Jake Latimer

Act One of a Horror Film

Medically Evacuated on Day 6

Although the Kele tribe has yet to win, Jake Latimer was playing a great social game, and he seemed quite insulated because of his physical strength. There was no one in the game close to him in that department.

Unfortunately, Jake Latimer was the third player to leave Survivor 49 after he was bitten by the highly venomous sea snake, the sea krait. Luckily, Jake was okay, but doctors needed to observe Jake to make sure that he didn’t have any venom. He also went through a lot during the evaluation process, and they decided they couldn’t send Jake back into the game after going through something so serious. This is one of the most shocking decisions in Survivor history.

Based on his social media activity, Jake appears to have made a full recovery.

Jeremiah Ing

Act One of a Horror Film

Voted out: Fourth

Although a fellow Kele tribe member was pulled from the game, the Kele tribe lost the immunity challenge, the third straight immunity loss, and Jeremiah was the odd person out. Alex Moore and Sophi Balerdi teamed up to vote out Jeremiah.

It’s such a bummer to see Jeremiah go. Two Canadians were eliminated in episode 3, and that just doesn’t feel right. Sadly, the Kele tribe still hasn’t won immunity, and now, production has to make some big decisions about a possible tribe swap.

Matt Williams

SURVIVOR

Voted out: Fifth

Matt Williams was looking great in Survivor 49, until he wasn't. He was on a great tribe, peforming well in challenges, and forming some good connections. Unfortunately, the tribe swap happened earlier than expected, and Matt ended up on the new Hina tribe four former Uli players. Matt's alliance was on the other tribe, and he was without real allies for the first time in the game.

Matt tried to play hard and pull in Jawan Pitts, Sophi Balerdi, and Jason Treul, but Sophi and Jawan stuck with Savannah Louie and Nate Moore to vote out Matt.

It's a bummer was eliminated at this part of the game because, while he might have been out of his element, he seemed like he could perform well in challenges. He was a real threat to go far in the game.

Jason Treul

Cinema
“Cinema” – Reality and hunger begin to take their toll as the castaways grapple with their limited resources to find food on the island. Generational differences come into sharp focus as some castaways find it challenging to keep up with the younger players’ current lingo. Then, a never-before-seen disadvantage appears in the game during this week’s immunity challenge, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, Oct. 1 - Credit: CBS

Voted out: Sixth

Jason Treul was voted out of Survivor 49 in episode 5. After Jason ended up with four former Uli players and a charismatic player like Sophi Balerdi, Jason knew he was in trouble, just like Matt Williams. After Matt was sent home in episode 4, Jason knew his days were numbered. He tried to wiggle his way out, but the former Uli tribe was not ready to turn on one of their own just yet. And, Jason became the sixth player eliminated from Survivor 49.

Shannon Fairweather

Voted out: Seventh

Shannon was always in trouble after the latest tribe swap, but she truly had no idea, at least that’s what it seemed like anyway. Shannon thought that she had worked everyone over to be on her side, but they saw through her posturing. She’s the perfect example of someone playing just a little bit too hard too early to raise some eyebrows.

In the end, Jawan Pitts and Sage Ahrens-Nichols teamed up with Steven Ramm to vote our the original Uli player. Now, the numbers are a little bit more even heading into the merge in episode 7!

Nate Moore

I'm a Wolf, Baby
“I’m a Wolf, Baby” – One castaway’s scheming gets them into hot water when their tribe realizes the same conversation has been repeated to each of them. Two castaways are sent on a grueling journey. Then, one castaway’s series of missteps leaves one of their tribemates hungry for revenge, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, Oct. 22. Pictured (L-R): Nate Moore. • Voted out: Eighth
  • Jury: Yes, first member

Nate Moore was voted out in the seventh episode of Survivor 49. He was the eighth player eliminated, but he is the first member of the jury! He will have a say in who wins Survivor 49, and that's really cool, as Nate mentioned in his exit interview.

Nate is the second backstab of the season, and second in a row, after fellow Uli members Sage Ahrens-Nichols and Jawan Pitts turned on Nate just one vote after turning on Shannon.

Michelle "MC" Chukwujekwu

Hot Grim Reaper
“Hot Grim Reaper” – After tribal council’s most recent idol play, castaways set out on a “defensive” idol search. One of the game’s toughest antagonists breaks down and shares a side of vulnerability with their tribemates. Then, the stakes of this week’s individual immunity challenge are raised when group immunity is on the line, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, Nov. 12 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium
  • Voted out: Ninth
  • Jury: Yes, second member

MC Chukwujekwu made a few mistakes in the last two episodes that came back to haunt her. After finding a hidden immunity idol that everyone knew about thanks to Savannah Louie's persistence, MC played that idol one vote too soon. She should have tried to hang on to that idol, but she didn't want to go home with an idol in her pocket.

Then, in episode 8, there was a clear plan in place to flush Rizo Velovic's immunity idol and possibly send him home, but MC told Jawan Pitts about the plan, which blew it up. Had she not told him, she could have survived another vote.

It's a bummer because MC had the tools to put together a deep run with the right lineup of immunity challenges. She honestly could have won a bunch of them.

Alex Moore

There are arguments that Alex Moore shouldn't have made it this far because of how poorly things went for the Kele tribe to start the game, but since then, he settled into a very safe position in the game.... until episode 9.

There's no way Alex should have been the person going home in this episode. We just watched some of the worst decision-making in recent Survivor history with this vote. Alex is a threat to win as a social player, but he's not a big challenge threat. Strategically, he was not making many moves. I just have no idea how the other players allowed Rizo Velovic to dictate this vote and keep his idol!

Jawan Pitts

Cinema
“Cinema” – Reality and hunger begin to take their toll as the castaways grapple with their limited resources to find food on the island. Generational differences come into sharp focus as some castaways find it challenging to keep up with the younger players’ current lingo. Jawan Pitts was the biggest elimination in episode 10 of the season! He was voted out in a pretty epic blindside that Rizo and Savannah were able to orchestrate with the help of a few key votes and an advantage. Had Jawan remained in the game, he could have had a good chance to make it all the way to the end. He'd made enough big moves, but he also had a hand in voting out every player after the merge.

Sophie Segreti

Sophie Segreti played a really solid game in Survivor 49, but it was almost too solid. She was simply too big of a threat to keep around. And, that's why she was voted out in episode 11. While I disagree of the timing of the move, there’s no better chance to take out a big threat in Survivor than the present.

Had Sophie been able to stick around, with how well she does in challenges, she could have easily won this whole season.

Who is left in Survivor 49?

  • Savannah Louie
  • Rizo Velovic
  • Sophie Segreti
  • Steven Ramm
  • Sophi Balerdi
  • Kristina Mills
  • Sage Ahrens-Nichols

One of those players will win Survivor 49! We'll find out who sometime in December. Until then, we'll be updating this list to make sure you know who has been voted out of Survivor 49 and who is still alive to win the season, title of Sole Survivor, and $1 million!
