We knew Survivor 50 episode 6 was going to be an awesome episode, but we had no idea it was going to be this wild!
For the first time in Survivor history, there will be three Survivor players voted out of the game in one night, Jeff Probst revealed before the immunity challenge. And, it's all because of the Blood Moon twist.
At the beginning of Survivor 50 episode 6, we watched all 17 remaining players merge! What's usually an exciting and celebratory occasion quickly turned into a nightmare. Ozzy Lusth found what looked like an immunity idol at camp during a frantic search. What happened next changed the game. Instead of an immunity idol, Ozzy booked himself a two-person ticket to Exile Island where he chose Rizo Velovic to join him, where they got to skip the Blood Moon twist revealed at the immunity challenge.

What is the Blood Moon twist?
With so many players merging in Survivor 50, we knew we were headed for a multi-elimination episode soon. We saw two players—Angelina Keeley and Charlie Davis—voted out in episode 5. Now, in episode 6, three players will be voted out.
In honor of the Blood Moon, which Jeff described as a bad omen among ancient civilizations, the 15 remaining players, not including Ozzy and Rizo, were split into three groups of five to compete in an immunity challenge. The winner of each group of five would win immunity while the other four players in each group could be voted out at Tribal Council that night. The big kicker was that each group of five players will be the only players voting in that Tribal Council.
In other words, we have three tribes all going to Tribal Council on one night with three players going home.
If that wasn't enough, the person who balanced the longest won Applebee's at the Sanctuary for their group before they headed to Tribal Council to vote someone out.
This is clearly one of the biggest twists in Survivor history. Three players eliminated in one night? That's wild!
We've seen finales that watched three players get voted out before a two-person Final Tribal Council, I believe, but the new era has also done double eliminations at times. This is the first time that we've seen a blood bath like this in Survivor, though. It's going to be a night that Survivor fans will always remember.

Jeff also revealed that the jury starts after these three player are eliminated
There was one last part of the twist, though. Jeff revealed that, even though the players made the merge, they are not part of the jury yet. The jury will be established starting in episode 7 and after the next vote that isn't part of these three Tribal Councils.
Right now, we know that Dee Valladares, Christian Hubicki, and Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick are part of the jury, at minimum, along with Ozzy and Rizo who are also safe. Those five players will be of the 14 players left competing to win $1 million.
It's too early to start thinking about Final Tribal Council right now, but it's never too early to start making moves. This is such an opportunity to take out an enemy or someone who won't for you at Final Tribal Council right now. The jury is so important on a season like this, and there are players left who will receive every vote from the jury if they make Final Tribal Council just based on their legacy. I'm talking about Cirie Fields and Ozzy Lusth mostly, but there are other players, too.

Kamilla, Genevieve, and Colby were voted out of Survivor 50
At the end of the episode, we saw Kamilla Karthigesu, Genevieve Mushaluk, and Colby Donaldson voted out of the game in three separate Tribal Councils.
Of the three, only Kamilla was a blindside. She was voted out after Jonathan Young flipped on her and Tiffany Ervin. Meanwhile, Genevieve played her Shot in the Dark to make things interesting, but it didn't work. It would have caused so many major problems for Rick or Joe.
Last but not least, Colby was voted out after he showed up for Tribal Council without a vote. He basically had no chance to survive the vote, and it seemed like Jeff Probst knew that as he gave Colby a chance to explain what Survivor has meant to him over the 25 years of playing the game.
