Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans is officially here. The season premiere arrives on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, and kicks off the biggest season since, at least, Survivor: Winners at War, and maybe ever.

Jeff Probst is leading a group of 24 returning players competing for the $1 million grand prize and title of Sole Survivor. Honestly, winning Survivor 50 is going to make one of these returning players a Survivor legend. And, it could even launch some of these players (the current legends or winners) into the conversations about the best Survivor players of all time.

What time are Survivor 50 episodes on CBS and Paramount+?

New episodes of Survivor 50 will be released on CBS and Paramount+ at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. C on Wednesday nights. The first episode of the season, which is fittingly titled "Epic Party," and it's going to be a three-hour episode!

That's right; we have the longest, non-finale episode of Survivor history to watch on Wednesday, Feb. 25, to kick off the season. It's going to be a good one!

After the season premiere, we should see 90-minute episodes throughout the rest of the season, unless CBS has some more big plans to allow Survivor to dominate a night of TV.

Survivor 50 finale will feature a live reunion

For the first time since season 39, we're going to see a live reunion during the Survivor 50 finale on Wednesday, May 20. Fans had the choice to vote for the live reunion vs. the afterparty in Fiji for the "In the Hands of the Fans" aspect of Survivor 50, and obviously, fans picked the live reunion.

That's a big deal because it means that fewer people will know who, exactly, wins Survivor 50. Throughout the new era, we've only had the taped finales and afterparty out in Fiji to watch. That also means that many people have known who exactly wins each season for a long time.

The Survivor 50 live reunion will be held in Los Angeles, and the winner will be revealed right before the live reunion.

It's going to be really exciting to watch the live reunion for the first time in a really long time!

Survivor 50 starting tribes

Survivor is starting with season 50 with three tribes of eight players. We're used to this format, but we've never seen this many players on three different tribes. We've seen three tribes of six players and two tribes of 10 players, but it's going to be very interesting to see how these big tribes get started in the game.

We shared all three tribe names and the list of players on each tribe:
