We always hear about the “challenge beasts” going far in the game, but which seasons actually proved this?

While I love talking about the strategic genius it takes to get to the end of Survivor, there’s no denying that there are some killer challenge players who have graced our screens. And while not all of them have made it to their season’s finale—getting voted out for being too much of a threat—there are a few seasons in Survivor history where one of the finalists earned their place at the end with immunity wins.

So today we’re looking at the best challenge finalists across all 50 seasons of Survivor ranked by percentage of total individual immunity challenges won in one season. And with a total of 250 (not-unique) players making it to the Final Five over the last 25 years, these top 5 rankings are out of a total 26 potential places—many of which are large ties. Comparatively, 90 Final Five players are ranked 26th in challenge wins with 0% win rates. So you know these top players are extremely impressive!

5. Mike Holloway (Survivor: Worlds Apart)

Before going on to win the 30th season of Survivor, Mike secured individual immunity at 5 of the 9 challenges he competed in. This not only gave him a 55.56% win rate, but also tied him as one of the historic challenge champions who won a whopping 5 individual immunities in a single season.

4. Rob Mariano (Survivor: All-Stars) and Fabio Birza (Survivor: Nicaragua)

Boston Rob has made his way to the Final Tribal Council of two seasons—both of which saw him win 4 individual immunity challenges. But out of 7 total immunity challenges in All-Stars (where he placed second) compared to 9 in Survivor: Redemption Island (which he went on to win), he has a higher win rate in his runner-up season with 57.14% the same as Nicaragua winner Fabio.

3. Colby Donaldson (Survivor: The Australian Outback)

The original record setter of the most challenge wins in a single season for a man, Colby scored 5 individual immunity wins in his first season. And with 8 potential opportunities to win the immunity necklace in his season, that puts him at an impressive 62.5% win rate. He truly set the standard for what a “challenge beast” is in this game.

2. Tom Westman (Survivor: Palau) and Terry Dietz (Survivor: Panama)

Terry is actually the only player in the top 5 challenge performances who didn’t even make it to his Final Tribal Council to plead his case for $1 million. Ending the game in third place during a Final Two season, he still wowed with a record-tying 5 immunity wins (out of a possible 7) alongside Palau winner Tom. Giving both players a 71.43% win rate.

1. Ozzy Lusth (Survivor: Cook Islands)

When people think of “challenge beasts” they almost always think of Ozzy. He proved himself a serious contender and threat on his first season, winning a total of 5 out of a possible 6 individual immunity challenges. This gives him the highest win rate in Survivor history with 83.33%. And his status proved that you don’t need to be a challenge threat to win as he secured second place to Yul Kwon who didn’t win any individual immunities that season.
