Rachel LaMont won Survivor 47 with a deadly combination of excellent game vision, terrific strategic play, a strong social game, and a record-tying run of immunity challenge victories. It all culminated in a decisive jury vote of 7-1, crowning her as the Sole Survivor.

During the last episode of season 47, it was mentioned a few times that Rachel tied the record for immunity wins by a woman player. She tied four other women who also won four challenges, only two of which won their season.

What other women won four immunity challenges on Survivor, and when did they play?

1.  Kelly Wiglesworth, Season 1

Kelly was a Survivor pioneer, participating in the first season and finishing second to Richard Hatch. During season one, she dominated after the merge, winning four challenges and setting a high bar for all future players.

She played again later in Survivor 31: Cambodia - Second Chances. She finished 11th that season and participated as a jury member.

2. Jenna Morsca, Season 6

Survivor 6: Amazon featured a man versus female theme during the game's early stages. Jenna played an excellent game throughout, but her domination in immunity challenges pushed her to a convincing 6-1 victory. Jenna gained more fame when she and Heidi Strobel stripped naked during a challenge for chocolate and peanut butter.

Her gameplay more than earned her a place on Survivor 8: All-Stars, but she had to leave the game early because her mother was sick.

3. Kim Spradlin, Season 24

Kim may be among the most underrated winners in the game’s history. She was the best Survivor 24: One World player and deserved her 7-2 win that season. She used clever gameplay, astute decision-making, and four immunity challenge wins to get her to the final tribal council.

She had a good showing in Winners at War, finishing 9th. She got taken out a little too early, but she displayed many of the same skills that earned her the win during her first go-around.

4. Chrissy Hoffbeck, Season 35

Her ability to win challenges in Survivor 35: Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers kept her in the game to the final tribal council. That dominance did not help overcome the popularity enjoyed by Ben Driebergen. She finished second after a 5-2-1 vote. She hasn’t appeared in another season to date.

5. Rachel LaMont, Season 47

Her accomplishments were mentioned above, but she proved to be much more than a superb strategist. She excelled in challenges, in both the physical parts of the tasks and the puzzle portions. She played a near-perfect game, and it would not be surprising to see her pop again during a future Survivor game.

Winning four immunity challenges is an incredible accomplishment, no matter the gender. That number has only been topped by six men, and no one has more than five challenge wins in a single season. By trying the record she did and by winning season 47 in such a dominant vote, Rachel earned her place among the Survivor elite.
