Despite certain connotations about who Jeff Probst favors in a contestant, he thinks a woman will win Survivor Game Changers when it’s all said and done.

As the pre-game press interviews have made clear, Jeff Probst is going to be brutally honest with his perspective. He’s already broken down the entire cast of Survivor Game Changers, player by player. Now, in a released interview segment from Entertainment Weekly, Jeff Probst offers up his thoughts about who is going to win this season.

Before he gets to his winner’s pick, Jeff offers up two players that you know he would love to see win, but would never put money down on. Both Cirie Fields and Sandra Diaz-Twine are players Jeff Probst would love to see win the game, and I am in complete agreement. For one, Cirie is known as a strategic threat who overcame all odds to get far in her first two seasons. For the other, having a three-time winner of Survivor when nobody else had won twice would be a remarkable feat.

More from Jeff Probst

Of course, as Jeff Probst reminds us, there’s no way that you’re going to let either one go far. Both have played strong games, while Sandra has proven just how effective she can work a jury that she hasn’t hand-picked to help her. I think that Cirie could articulate the greatest tribal council arguments we’ve ever seen, but she’s such a threat that I don’t think we’ll ever see that come to fruition.

Instead, Jeff offers up a push for Ciera Eastin. Without championing that Ciera is famous for voting out her mom, Probst notes that she might slide in far enough into the game, offer to stick to her guns and will draw rocks for you. “And she’ll vote out her mom,” of course, slips in right at the tail-end, as it cannot be overstated enough to core fans who read Survivor interviews before the show begins about that one hidden caveat nobody’s heard about before.
