3 Things We Hope To Get From Survivor Game Changers Tribe Swap
3. Continuation of the Cirie and Ozzy Saga
In the Survivor Game Changers premiere, we saw Cirie and Ozzy continue a bit of drama amongst themselves. Though their initial face-to-face was friendly, we quickly found out that the latter had not forgotten being betrayed by the former when they played together previously. Thanks to Tai having the worst poker face on the planet, Ozzy’s lie to Cirie that everything was copacetic unraveled relatively quickly.

With that in mind, the hope for the tribe swap is that these two rivals wind up still together on whatever tribe. Part of that is with the wishful thinking that their rivalry will be forced to come to the surface. In a six-person tribe, those types of things aren’t suppressed for long at all. Thus, it’s not hard to imagine the two Survivor veterans getting into it soon after the swap occurs and both then looking for a way to try and get the other booted. That would be fantastic television, but the potential for the flip-side of that is also intriguing.
Though Ozzy clearly harbors some animosity towards Cirie, he noted multiple times how important the social game is going to be for him to last in this season. There haven’t been many social players in the history of the show as strong as Cirie. As a result, the potential for a pretty lethal two-person alliance could start to form if these two could set aside their differences, hash everything out, and start working together.
Regardless of which outcome would unfold in this situation, though, we’d need them on the same tribe for either to transpire. In that light, let’s hope that Step 1 takes place in the swap and that the pair of four-time players are united again on their new tribe.
