Survivor: Game Changers Episode 6 Synopsis: “Vote Early, Vote Often”
The synopsis of Survivor: Game Changers’ sixth episode focuses on one change in the game over another, but will it really matter much?
Watching Survivor: Game Changers weekly feels like an exercise in relative time. You sit down, get to the title card, and within no more than ten minutes (or at least it seems that way), Jeff Probst snuffs someone’s torch and tells them, “The tribe has spoken. It’s time for you to go.” It has to do with how much happens in every single episode this season. At least, that’s what we think is going on.
We bring this up because the synopsis for next week’s episode mentions three major things in the span of one single sentence.
CBS’ official synopsis for “Vote Early, Vote Often” is as follows:
"“One castaway is left floating on Exile Island after a tribe switch, and the exiled castaway receives a surprise visit, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, April 5 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.”"
As for that “tribe switch,” we knew about that as well, thanks to the photos. Interestingly, the synopsis keeps mum on what exactly the switch will look like. That’s probably because it focuses more on the Exile Island return.
And yes, Exile Island is back. The confirmation of a visit basically explains the title of episode 7 far better than we could when we found out what the title was.
Speaking of, check out that wording: “left floating on.” Originally, we speculated that the exile would go to the unused camp. “Floating,” however, seems to make it sound as though it may be a more traditional form of Exile Island in terms of isolated and difficult living conditions.
The surprise visit is shrouded in mystery for now, though we suspect it must be one of the great game changers who didn’t make it on the show for whatever reason. Perhaps Richard Hatch can finally leave the country? He hasn’t received permission in the past. However, that may have changed in more recent years. It may be perhaps too obvious of an answer. At the same time, though, being too obvious would be a twist in a season full of them.
Does the visit consist of just advice, though? Will this former castaway come bearing a special advantage in the game? It would go a long way in explaining “What Happened on Exile, Stays on Exile” as episode 7’s title. Whoever spends time in exile would have a very good reason for keeping things secret for as long as they can.
