Exile island might be making a return with Survivor Game Changers as the title of episode 7 suggests as much.

The twists keep rolling in for Survivor Game Changers. Through only four episodes and not even two weeks of the players being stranded, there have already been two substantial, game-altering twists. First came the tribe swap after the premiere episodes that also moved to three tribes. Then, of course, came the two-tribes-vote-off-one-player twist for Tribal Council in episode 4.

Could there now be another twist approaching in the coming weeks—the return of one that fans and players are surely familiar with? Of course, I’m talking about the return of Exile Island.

Looking ahead at the Survivor Game Changers TV schedule on CBS Press Express, the title of episode 7 (which will air on April 12) is “What Happened on Exile, Stays on Exile.” Unless that’s just there to toy with fans who read too much into every bit of information that’s presented (shamelessly including myself in that category), that’s a pretty clear indication that Exile Island is returning in some capacity.

More from Surviving Tribal

With the cast of all returning players, it’s natural that some have experienced Exile Island before. J.T. Thomas experienced it in Toncantins, while both Ozzy Lusth and Cirie Fields have been on two seasons featuring Exile, Ozzy on Cook Islands and Cirie on Panama – Exile Island with both appearing on Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites. Tai Trang, Aubry Bracco and Debbie Wanner all also had a brush-up with Exile Island on Kaoh Rong, though it wasn’t the full-fledged version.

In Kaoh Rong the tribes swapped with 13 players remaining and moved to only two tribes. With that move, Julia Sokolowski drew the odd buff and was sent to Exile for a night. That begs the question of what Exile Island we’ll be seeing if that is the case on Survivor Game Changers.

Given the timing of the episode, it’s not a stretch to suggest that it could be a similar twist to Kaoh Rong. Because of the Legacy Advantage Sierra Dawn-Thomas possesses, we know there’s some even with 13 players remaining. But there’s an issue with things being the same as on Kaoh Rong‘s Exile. There are 16 players still in the game, which doesn’t add up with only two episodes remaining until episode 7.

However, let’s say that we’re actually hit with another twist prior to episode 7—say a double vote next week. That would then leave 13 players going into the episode and making the “Julia Exile” a possibility.

Frankly, it’s all supposition at this point. But the all-returnee cast makes things interesting in how they would react to the “Julia Exile” as they look to make alliances for an upcoming merge with one person away. All that can be said with any kind of certainty is that an episode title seems to give away the return of Exile Island. And in this season where twists are in abundance, that’s both surprising and not.
