Survivor Game Changers: Former players react to episode 12
The waterworks were pouring in Survivor Game Changers episode 12, as the loved ones came to visit and provide some players with peace of mind.

With just nine players left in Survivor Game Changers, every breath you take, every move you make, every bond you break and every step you take will be under the watchful eyes of eight other players. Decisions surrounding the Loved Ones visit and the subsequent challenge will either adversely affect some or greatly benefit others.
To start us off, Cirie started throwing Brad’s name out immediately; a telltale Survivor sign that player isn’t going anywhere. Sarah continued to act like a criminal by toying with the idea of keeping her friend, Sierra, in the game. She even told Sarah about the Legacy Advantage.
The reward challenge was the key moment of the episode, where every player got a fair amount of screentime and opportunity to share their emotional standpoint in the game. Survivor players, including those who have been through the moment themselves, shared their thoughts on this special occasion.
Once the tears dried up, the challenge began. The three teams didn’t involve one of their loved ones like the challenge preview may have indicated, but it was an entertaining challenge, nonetheless.

While the loved ones were laughing it up and Brad was asking Monica what Monica would do, Troyzan, Sierra, Tai and Michaela were working on their own alliance plans. Knowing the time is now to strike, the high fives tried to solidify an alternate team.

The immunity challenge continued the pattern of strong, creative challenges; hold a ball with two sticks for a long time. Most players fell in the first few minutes, but Michaela, Tai and Brad finished in third, second and first place after close to 20 minutes on those narrow beams.

Once all nine players came back to camp, Michaela and Tai were the ones walking around to the minority alliance and trying to whip the votes. However, with Sierra trying to take out her partnership, Sarah tried her best to secure that Legacy Advantage.

Tribal council was as wild as it was subtle, with the nine Survivor Game Changers making their case for who should go home without naming names. Either Andrea or Sierra was going home, and Survivor players on Twitter were kept in suspense.
Despite trying their best to stay in the game, Sierra Dawn Thomas was voted out in 9th place, taking up the 5th juror spot and directly heading to Ponderosa. She lost in a 6-3 decision where Tai and Michaela flipped on the “rewardless” voting bloc.

Survivor Game Changers episode 13, “Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow,” will air next Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET. Two players will likely go home, making for quite the eventful hour of television ahead of the season finale.
