Sometimes an insider’s perspective is best as Survivor host Jeff Probst dives into the Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers cast to see who will come out on top.

We’ve been slowly, but surely, diving into our own assessment of the Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers cast with our thoughts on Cole Medders, Alan Ball, Roark Luskin, Devon Pinto, Mike Zahalsky, Ryan Ulrich and more. However, we can only gauge subtle clues in their bio answers and short video clips. Jeff Probst, having helped cast Survivor season 35, has an insider perspective he can offer.

ET Online has the exclusive video of Jeff Probst’s Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers cast assessment, diving into just what he thinks of the 18 people he helped decide who should be in this season’s game. You can tell that Probst is excited about the cast in how he speaks about them, sporting as much exuberance and energy as the cast themselves.

Noteworthy is just who Jeff Probst likes the most in Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, and the words of praise he heaps on them. He mentions Chrissy Hofbeck as “one of my all-time favorite people,” quickly noting that she’s had so much life experience that she can distract people from the topic of her wealth of life experience.

If there’s anyone on the Heroes that Jeff is concerned about, it’s Katrina Radke and her “quirky” personality. I mentioned others’ perspectives in my cast assessment of hers, so hopefully, she isn’t Debbie Wanner 3.0.

More from Heroes Vs Healers Vs Hustlers

On the Healers tribe, Jeff Probst highlights Desi Williams as someone with the full package, noting he thinks she can go a long way. Having a charming personality, attractiveness to bring in alliance partners and plenty of accomplishments in her professional career are the things he highlights in his glowing praise of her.

There’s no one person that Jeff thinks stands out negatively for the Healers of Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Joe could be a new Tony Vlachos from Survivor Cagayan or, if he doesn’t find the right group, he could be Game Changers Tony. Meanwhile, Roark’s been perceived as an intelligent person that may be a bit too upfront about it for Jeff to be concerned about on her behalf.

Finally, the Hustlers tribe might as well be Jeff’s personal Millenials 2.0 project. Most of these castaways have a perceived strength that could be their downfall, but Jeff Probst singles out Ali Elliott as someone he’d be surprised to see not make it to the end. Meanwhile, Devon is the kind of evolution of an Ozzy type in the fact that he thinks beyond swimming/climbing challenges and fishing as a Survivor strategy.

All in all, you can tell Jeff Probst is jazzed for the Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers players to get started in this pre-game cast assessment. How his predictions hold up once the season begins on September 27 is a different story altogether.
