Proof that we’re just a couple dozen hours away from Survivor season 35 comes the behind-the-scenes video of the upcoming season’s first challenge.

Earlier today, fans got to see a brief glimpse at the first six minutes of Survivor season 35 action as the Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers castaways learned about their season, learned about their first task and threw themselves off their majestic Fijian boat. Flash forward to two days later and these players will be competing in their first tribal Immunity Challenge.

For those too impatient to get a good look at what’s coming up in tomorrow night’s debut episode challenge, the wait is over. The CBS Survivor YouTube channel has uploaded a behind-the-scenes look at “Track of My Tears”; the pivotal first Immunity Challenge that will send one team to Tribal Council on Night 3.

John Kirhoffer is back as supervising producer of the Survivor challenges this season, and he’s packed a good team-oriented series of obstacles that will give host Jeff Probst plenty of opportunities to pretend like there’s a Hero, Healer or Hustler mentality behind any of the decisions made.

It begins with each tribe climbing up the top of a long net, bringing each team to a rope station on top of a wooden platform. Dragging a very heavy cart to the top by pulling the rope, everyone must jump into the cart as a team as the cart travels into a mound of sawdust, creating those explosive visuals we saw when Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers was first revealed.

Once the teams get out, the first team will have a choice of one of three different types of ball-oriented puzzles to push and pull up a steep incline obstacle. Whatever puzzle they choose is only theirs to solve, as the second team must choose between the remaining and the final team is stuck with solving the last puzzle. Once that puzzle is dragged to the final platform, it must be solved on top of a swiveling gimbal. The first two teams to complete the challenge wins safety.

The twist about being the first team to choose which kind of puzzle to solve actually came from Entertainment Weekly editor Dalton Ross’ daughter, proving that the Dream Team will always take a good idea and run with it, no matter who pitches it or how old they are. I’m sure John Kirhoffer won’t mind you sending in constant challenge suggestions!
