Double the length, double the intrigue, double the eliminations and double the spy shenanigans in Survivor edgic for season 35 episodes 10 and 11.
We’re down to seven players left in Survivor season 35, Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, and it’s still a game where anything can happen. Concerning the editing, as well as “Probstgic” where you have to follow along for hints about what he says about a season before it begins, it looks like we’ve entered the final third that was indicated as “one of the best finishes” the show has ever seen.
There were certainly new movers and shakers within these two episodes, with plenty of screentime, story content and confessionals for all save one player. With two episodes’ worth of edgic content to focus on, we’ll be covering each player from the perspective of what I think their winner chances are.
Here is the Survivor edgic chart for season 35 episode 12 of Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers:
Lauren Rimmer (Episode 10 – CPP5 / Episode 11 – CP3): After getting a modest edit that took a back seat to bigger bombastic players such as Ben, Chrissy and Joe, Lauren gets a lot of credit for both creating a new Lauren Reward Alliance, implementing a plan to flip on the strongest players and bring in characters she could beat in a Final Tribal Council situation into her fold.
Not only that, we got other players giving her credit for her gameplay, we saw a deeply moving bit of personal content from her as she laid out the strategy and she had an important role in sending out the first salvo against the Ryan/Chrissy/JP contingent. Her second episode was a lot more laid back in prominence, but we got to see a lot more insight in discussions to take out members of her own alliance, showing how truthful she was when she talked about always hustling.
Devon Pinto (Episode 10 – CP3 / Episode 11 – CP5): Devon’s been getting a huge push in confessional content since the merge, and he was credited with coming up with the strategy to make Ben a secret agent within Chrissy and Ryan’s alliance in trying to get them to use up their advantages.
Similar to that of a Sarah Lacina or Natalie Anderson winner’s edit, Devon’s been shown to be appreciated by those in his alliance and is now starting to be shown strategic content in a late push. The only thing holding him back from being the top winner’s pick in my eyes is his lack of personal content (we didn’t even see him read his letter from home), although the Loved Ones visit can change that next week.
Ben Driebergen (Episode 10 – CPP4 / Episode 11 – CP4): Just when you think Ben was on the outs of this season, the first hour of Survivor this week gave him all the necessary moments to make him earn back the trust of the audience. He read his letter from home and, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, sprang forth anew as he secured a Hidden Immunity Idol.
Then, in the second episode, he played the hell out of everyone on the island by playing the down-but-not-out role for three days, securing the respect and fear of his alliance. He was a name contemplated to be voted out, but his partnership with Devon secured him another round. Players have said they’d vote for him to win Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, so don’t count him out yet.

Chrissy Hofbeck (Episode 10 – MORN3 / Episode 11 – CPM4): My pre-season winner pick has not been looking good lately, as she’s been shown to be overly confident in power and bitter/salty when things don’t go her way. One minute she’s talking with Ryan about naming boot orders ahead of time, the next she’s sarcastically asking if she’s allowed to ask why people flipped on her.
The second episode, if anything, sets up hope for a redemption arc. In the one day of the season it actually rains, Chrissy’s shown battered and downtrodden. The next day, she overcomes adversity to secure Individual Immunity to a triumphant roar. She’s still going to carry herself in a “better than thou” manner, but we’re also getting a bit more humanity out of her edit. Depending on how things shake out, she could sneak into FTC with goats if the new majority eats each other alive.
Ashley Nolan (Episode 10 – CP3 / Episode 11 – CP3): I have no confidence in any of the following players winning Survivor season 35 according to edgic, but I have to give Ashley a better chance than others. She’s certainly given the edit of overcoming her own self-doubts and finally making a splash, but trying to push to get Ben out and then failing to do so in episode 11 isn’t doing her any favors.
If anything, Ashley is still well-liked by her alliance and those on the jury, even if Joe was the one antagonizing her about being a goat. I still think that was kept in the edit because it’s a foreshadowing of her future, but if she can get into the Final Tribal Council somehow with Chrissy and Ryan, that’s her only shot.

Her edit this episode served the alliance while giving hints about her stepping things up. Unfortunately, that was the same edit Will Wahl got before getting voted out quickly after.
Ryan Ulrich (Episode 10 – MORN3 / Episode 11 – MORN3): Ever since the merge, Ryan’s importance in the overall picture gets less prominent, yet the edit showcases him feeling loud and proud in the comings and goings of the show. He was confident in naming the desired boot order with Chrissy, but played it cool once he was blindsided.
The only reason I see his winning odds worse per Survivor season 35 edgic is due to the wealth of negative content he got before the merge. He hasn’t done a good job of treating the jury with respect, as I don’t think I’ve seen him interact with anyone but JP (a member of his own alliance). He negativity overall will bite him if he sneaks into the end.
Mike Zahalsky (Episode 10 – CPM3 / Episode 11 – MOR3): When even Joe, who was saved by Mike, is completely clowning on Mike, you know his chances of respectability on the jury are very low. Even in a situation where four of the current five jury members are Healers, Mike was already viewed as the bottom of the pack from the start.
Betsided
His edit in the past few episodes doesn’t do him any favors, either. While the edit shows him playing a goofball as a strategic move necessary to further him to the next round, you can tell the other players are annoyed by it. In both episodes, he was a pawn of the Lauren Reward Alliance by being told just a part of a master plan put forth by others, with the majority turning on him almost immediately.
Dr. Mike is one of my favorite characters remaining, but I can’t think he’s going to win based on Survivor edgic.
Joe Mena (Episode 10 – MOR3 / Episode 11 – MORN3): There hasn’t been a player to reach the jury that has had a complex personality edit in their boot episode. Not even Joe gets that honor, as his complex villain edit was diminished to Coco-Nuts voting puppet for a grander scheme of remaining players. He kept the season fairly interesting, so it’ll be interesting to see who occupies a villain role in his place.
