A major player exiting the game will certainly shake things up in the Survivor power rankings as of Survivor season 35 episode 12.

Seriously, how in the world could anyone expect such a brutal punch to the gut like the quick exit of Lauren Rimmer? In one minute, she’s sitting pretty with a bunch of advantages. The next minute, one power is in an active fire, another goes unused and one is used against her by someone else, sending her straight to Ponderosa.

Selfishly, it also meant that my Survivor power rankings for last week’s episode went about as poorly as possible; my second-safest pick went home! This time, with just six players left and more obvious targets heading into this week, I hope to turn the tide with a reasonably accurate assessment of who’s the likeliest to be voted out this week.

#6. Ben Driebergen

Sometimes, it’s hard not to be so extra about things. Ben is so low on our Survivor power rankings because, in his bid to secure power, he made sure to annoy the hell out of everyone else left playing this game. Chrissy is on a blood vendetta, Devon can’t trust him anymore, Ashley lost her friend because of his antics and everyone else in the game voted for him last week.

Seeing how Ben’s one of the best remaining all-around players left in the game, as well as the promo focusing way too much on “The Survivor Devil,” there’s a chance that Ben wins Immunity and stays safe until the finale. However, you can’t trust the promo to be entirely accurate in the same way that you can’t trust a misleading edit.
