The 36th season of Survivor draws ever closer to the end. Catch the Ghost Island episode 13 live stream online later tonight to see who will go home early.
If there is any consolation in Survivor Ghost Island, it’s that it’s not a one-horse race. Domenick Abbate has been a force ever since he raised his hand in opposition to Chris’ contradiction in episode one, working harder than ever to secure safety every passing week. However, Wendell has been with him every step of the way, using his relationships and social game to push further.
Although only one has indicated an interest in cutting the other, both of them are well protected heading into the Final Seven. As their threat level rises, both of them will require each other’s backs, meaning they might be stuck defending one another through to the finale.
Laurel has been sitting in the middle of reason/logic and siding with Domenick and Wendell. She’s said for multiple weeks how she can’t win in the end if she sits beside them, yet insists that nobody else will take her there. For some reason, playing for third is nobler a strategy than going out swinging in seventh, even when you would be completely safe at the eighth-place vote.
There’s a lot that goes into the decisions made by Survivor Ghost Island players. They’ve been deprived of food, water and basic necessities for so long that the comfort of safety in the game coddles some. Most players who have tried to make a big move have gone home in opposition to Domenick and Wendell, and they still have an Immunity Idol each.
Survivor Ghost Island episode 13 should provide viewers with the glimpse of Donathan going “rogue” and trying to shake up the vote. Hell, someone has to make some noise this season, and we’ll appreciate the effort even if it’s in vain.
