More twists and turns await the final six players set to compete in the Survivor Ghost Island finale, with the latest promo teasing high-stakes play.

Though the road to the ending seems like a foregone conclusion, anything can happen as we approach the Survivor Ghost Island finale. Domenick Abbate could fall into a Fijian volcano when searching for Boston Rob’s discarded idol clue back from Redemption Island, knowing it has matured on Ghost Island. Wendell Holland may confuse him with Donald Glover, not wanting to hand a million dollars to a wealthy, talented actor and singer.

In a smaller likelihood, one of Angela, Sebastian, Donathan or Laurel could win Survivor Ghost Island by … making bigger moves to take out those in power? Of the six who remain in the game, it seems like Donathan is the only one willing to take the shot at Domenick and Wendell, but he can’t do anything about those who won’t move and are happy to compete for third place.

It’s a small part of the Survivor Ghost Island finale preview commercial, teasing the six remaining players and their ability to shake up the game in the final three days of non-jury-decided play. There are some winner quotes, some odd inclusions and the tease of someone changing how the game is played (although it’ll be interesting to see how that can be done).

“I have nothing to lose at this point; it’s balls to the wall for me,” Donathan exclaims, accurately summing up his disastrous play last episode. “I’m not here to make friends; I’m here to win a million dollars,” Angela explains, paying homage to the cursed winner quote line from Kelley Wiglesworth in Borneo (also maturing on Ghost Island).

If there’s anything to take away other than the basic throwaway lines, it’s this stinger at the end by the narrator. “But in the history of Survivor, if you think you’ve seen it all, think again.” Considering we’ve seen expanded jury segments and Final Four fire-making challenges in recent years, perhaps we will see an odd new wrinkle in the game at the last minute!
